Findings from the National Study of Learning, Voting and Engagement (NSLVE) show that Oakland University students vote at higher rates than students at other public research universities and students at all participating colleges and universities. Fifty seven percent of OU students voted in the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Additional information on NSLVE is available at Tufts University’s Institute for Democracy & Higher Education website.
