A Grizz Facts look at graduation and retention rates for underrepresented minority students

Students from underrepresented minority (URM) groups have lower first year retention rates and six-year graduation rates than students who are not from minority groups.

In 2019, male URM students had higher retention than female URM students, which contrasts with the pattern for students who are not from minority groups.

For students who entered OU in 2014, females have higher six-year graduation rates than males of all groups.
