NSSE, OU Students, High-Impact Practices

According to the 2022 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), OU first-year and senior students were involved in more High-Impact Practices (HIPs) than students at peer institutions. Research indicates that students who experience HIPs as part of their college education have higher levels of learning success.
First-Year HIPs include:
- Service-Learning
- Learning Community
- Research with Faculty
Senior HIPs include:
- Service-Learning
- Learning Community
- Research w/Faculty
- Internship, Study Abroad
- Culminating Senior Experience
