Dawn Aubry, Vice President for Enrollment Management, has announced that Nicole Boelk, Director of Financial Aid Services for the Baker College system, has been appointed as Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships here at OU.

In her new position, Nicole will oversee the financial aid and student financial services team members and partner across campus to lead and support the overall financial aid strategy and execution. She will begin her new role on September 1, 2022.

Nicole has gained extensive experience through more than 17 years of work in higher education and has earned a reputation as a problem solver, strategic thinker and effective communicator. Her efforts have improved the user experience for financial aid recipients.

In addition to Nicole’s strong administrative skills and a desire to help others, she demonstrates a genuine commitment to student success and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Nicole received a Bachelor of Business Administration: Marketing and Communications degree from Saginaw Valley State University, a Bachelor of Business Administration: Human Resource Management degree from Baker College, and a Master of Business Administration: Leadership Studies degree from Baker College.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to welcome Nicole to the OU community in the coming weeks and months.
