OU Event TentOakland University is making a tent available to faculty and staff looking to host outdoor campus events through the 2021 Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, October 8-9. The tent is equipped with tables, chairs, a stage, lighting and flooring. It can welcome up to 200 attendees.

Parties reserving the tent will be responsible for catering, seating set up and tear down, acquisition of audio and video equipment, tent cleaning and trash removal, and provision of portable restrooms as needed.

Facilities Management and Classroom Support and Instructional Technical Services may be available to help with moving and audio/video equipment rental, respectively, and fees may apply. Event planners seeking Facilities Management assistance should submit a work order request.

Parties using the tent will also be responsible for communicating and enforcing any applicable COVID-19 infection prevention guidelines.

Those interested in reserving the tent should complete the Grounds Event Request Form. To avoid scheduling conflicts, applicants will be asked to provide an event preferred date and two alternate dates on the request form. Applicants should allow up to 72 business hours to receive responses to their requests.
