Biography
Adam Malinowski has been teaching in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric at OU since 2019. They hold a B.S. in Political Science and M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Eastern Michigan University. Adam also co-facilitates the poetry workshop (“The Writers’ Bloc”) at Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility in Ypsilanti, MI. Their creative work can be found at The Poetry Project Newsletter, Social Text, Inverted Syntax, Indolent Books, and in Mirage #5/Period(ical) #6. Adam believes in the classroom as a kind of “concrete utopia,” where students and instructors are guided by their unique interests, affinities, desires, and values, and loves working with the diverse youth of Southeastern Michigan.
