Are services at the Student Technology Center free?
The majority of services available at the Student Technology Center are free of charge to currently registered students. There is a fee for color printing. Students will sign a form to borrow equipment and they will be held responsible for any damage. Equipment returned late or damaged will result in a charge to the student’s account.

Can I get assistance on course assignments at the Student Technology Center?
Yes. Student Technology Center professional staff members and mentors are available to help you learn about the technology so you can use it to complete your course assignment.

Do I need to make an appointment to use the Student Technology Center?
No. Technology training and access to Student Technology Center equipment are available to currently registered OU students on a walk-in basis. Workshops are scheduled at set times. To ensure your needs are met, you may also make an appointment with an Student Technology Center mentor for personalized one-on-one technology training.

What equipment is available in the Student Technology Center?
The Student Technology Center offers: PC and Macintosh workstations; black and white, and color printers, scanners; CD and DVD burners; digital still and video cameras; software; and technology reference books.

What type of workshops are available at the Student Technology Center?
Taught by professional staff and technology mentors, the Student Technology Center workshops cover PC and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office applications; select Adobe and Macromedia applications; and more.

When is the Student Technology Center open?
The Student Technology Center is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday.
