Faculty Feedback

Faculty can impact Student Persistence using the Faculty Feedback System

Faculty teaching courses up to the 2000 level, are required to provide an early alert to students in their classes who may be falling behind in a course through the Faculty Feedback system in SAIL.

The success of the Faculty Feedback system success counts on giving students feedback early enough in a semester that they can act in a way that ensures their success.

When can Faculty Feedback be used?
  • As early as the first week of class.
  • Using the system between weeks 2 and 5 yields the best results as far as student persistence and retention.
  • System closes the 8th week of classes.
