Athletes

If you have been contacted by a varsity coach to participate in intercollegiate athletics, contact the athletic academic adviser at (248) 370-3190 before orientation so they can assist you in creating a class schedule to accommodate team practices and events.

Honors College

Students interested in applying to The Honors College, can learn more by visiting their website.

School of Music, Theatre and Dance

Students who wish to major in music, theatre or dance must audition for the department faculty. Contact the School of Music, Theatre and Dance at mtd@oakland.edu.

Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities should register with Disability Support Services at least six weeks before the start of your first semester at OU. If you have a disability and need special assistance to participate in orientation, please call Orientation and New Student Programs at (248) 370-GOLD (4653).

Veterans

Veterans should complete necessary Veteran Certification forms and can seek additional support through Veteran Support Services.
