Programs for Children

The department of Reading and Language Arts offers two summer programs designed for children's intellectual growth:

  • The Reading Clinics are designed to help children overcome reading difficulties by identifying their current reading strengths and providing appropriate instruction to support their growth.
  • The Writing Clinic helps children grades 1-8 discover the joy and self-knowledge that comes from writing through an aesthetic, research-based approach.
