Dr. Rajan Menon
Since 2010, the Department of Political Science has hosted the annual Meadow Brook Lecture in International Affairs. This lecture series brings to Oakland's campus a distinguished scholar of international politics for an evening lecture and discussion of issues of global importance.

This year, the Meadow Brook Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Rajan Menon, who is currently Professor of Political Science at the City College of New York/City University of New York and a Senior Research Scholar at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies and a Global Ethics Fellow at the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs. Dr. Menon's lecture, titled "America and the World Under President Trump," will explore the consequences of President Trump's campaign promises to upend many pillars of the international system and what this means for America's global engagement and the peace and prosperity of the international system.

The lecture is held at Meadow Brook Hall, in the Ballroom, on Thursday March 23, at 7pm. The lecture is free and open to the public. To RSVP, email polisci@oakland.edu. For further information, contact Professor Matthew Fails at fails@oakland.edu.
