OU participates in 'Million Acts of Good'
Chartwells staff led the OU effort to participate in a "Million Acts of Good," a project supported by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Cheerios.
Oakland University's food service provider and partner, Chartwells, was inspired by The Ellen DeGeneres Show & Cheerios' mission to fill the world with good!
So, joining with OU faculty, staff and students, they led a campus effort on March 28 in the Oakland Center Habitat to pack 200 MATTERboxes as part of the Million Acts of Good campaign to provide food to those in need.
Half of the MATTERboxes went to the Baldwin Center in Pontiac and half were donated to the OU Food Pantry.
