Pay based upon experience and education Job Purpose: Individual needed to lead program groups for children, teens and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Includes supervision of all participants at the program, implementing positive behavior supports when needed, interacting with parents as needed and communicating with the Program Coordinator on a consistent basis. Each class will be delivered on a weekly basis for 1-3 hours for 8 weeks. Participant group size could range from 6-10 participants. Prior experience in facilitating groups for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS: Positive attitude with high energy that has genuine interest and understanding about Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ability to work independently and creatively with little direction from supervisor; Dependable, detailed oriented, organized and punctual; Must be a team player with strong communication skills and flexibility when needed; Degree from a university or college in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education or related field; Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Looking for a Good Friend
Twice a month friend for our 33 year-old daughter. She is quiet but well-versed, funny, extremely kind, easy to spend time with, engaging, interested and interesting. Individual should possess same qualities and should take this commitment seriously as it is difficult to find a loyal friend to go out for a meal, go for a walk, window shop in a downtown area or something similar. Direct Care/CLS Worker Needed
Seeking: direct care/CLS worker, working with our autistic teens in our Troy home.
Schedule: Tuesday 8:30-11:30, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-12:30, $21+ per hour. More hours may be available at various times depending on schedules.
Duties include assisting with morning routine (breakfast, getting dressed, showering, etc), community outings, and supervision for safety. This is a great opportunity for college students in education, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, psychology, social work, etc.

I am an EOR looking for CLS staff support in my Lake Orion home for my 20 year old son with Autism. He is nonverbal and requires assistance with daily ADL’s. Position is full time M-F 2-8pm and weekends 9-8pm but can be flexible. I have a CLS Manager who’s been working with my son for seven years. He will provide on the job training to learn all routines and schedules for my son. Pay rate is $20+/hr based on experience. My son can present with aggressive behavior at times but it can be redirected or diffused with support and kindness. The main job requirements are patients, positive attitude and an outgoing personality. My son needs to feel safe and have trust with the staff that support him. CLS and Respite Staff Needed
I am an EOR looking for CLS and Respite staff for my 46 year old son Dan, who has physical and developmental disabilities as well as being on the autism spectrum. Dan uses a wheelchair and enjoys going out into the community for a wide variety of activities, for which we provide a vehicle that Dan and his caregiver use. Dan has functional speech and is able to communicate concrete needs and preferences. He needs hands-on assistance with daily ADL’s, including using the bathroom and performing assisted transfers. Dan has a HAB waiver and a Medicaid-funded budget of 52 hours of caregiving each week, so a team approach is optimal. Days / hours are negotiable. Current hourly pay rate is $21.67 for CLS and $19.13 / her hour for Respite. Autism Support Design 24-7
Individualized, designed programs for adults and teens on the Spectrum to learn skills to achieve the best adult outcomes, are available to the ASD Community. Our programs are designed by a parent/educator with an M.E. in Special Ed-Autism Endorsement, who has a proven track record in helping people on the Spectrum be the best they can be, and are implemented by her son, a life coach on the Spectrum.
