CAW 2022Oakland University is joining public and private organizations across the country and the world to broaden awareness of and protection against growing threats to the security of sensitive data and technology systems.

During Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October, University Technology Services (UTS) is highlighting resources it provides to help students, faculty and staff maintain data security and privacy online.

It is important that campus community members remember that a single security breach can provide cyber criminals access to both personal and institutional data. Greater knowledge of emerging threats and secure online practices designed to circumvent them can significantly minimize risks for both individuals and the university as a whole.
