Monday, November 15, marks the halfway point of the 2021 Oakland University Fund Drive (OUFD), which ends on Friday, December 10. To date, 573 university community donors have contributed more than $260,000 to support students and programs at OU.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to remember the President’s Office Match, which extends the impact of individual giving by adding 50 cents on the dollar to gifts of up to $1,000. Contributions can be made online, through payroll deductions or by way of the U.S. Mail, interoffice mail or an Annual Giving pickup arrangement.

“I give to the OUFD because I remember the stress of paying my way through college without family support," said Beth Talbert, M.A., chief advisor and special instructor in the Communication Program.

"I know that every dollar made a difference to me then, and that earning a degree changed the trajectory of my life. In giving to the OUFD, I hope to alleviate some of that stress for current students.”
