In a web article shared last week, Human Resources announced the launch of a new learning management system (LMS) designed to support employee professional training, succession planning, applicant tracking and performance management oversight. Access to the LMS will be made available to employees in January of 2021.

Employees are advised that transitioning to the new system will involve sunsetting the current legacy system also known as the Training Manager. As part of this process, Human Resources will export the last two years of training records for all users from the Training Manager and import them into the LMS. Leadership Academy cohort and Skillsoft course records will be included.

Employees interested in maintaining their full training history will need to download a copy of it from the Training Manager website. After logging in, users should select the print option from their browser’s file menu and then select the “Save as PDF” option from the print options window that appears.

Saved training history PDFs can be uploaded and stored on the new LMS system as soon as access is made available to employees.

Staff are encouraged to look for additional information regarding learning opportunities and system training programs, all of which will be coming soon.
