The university mailroom as has announced its holiday season mail services schedule and important highlights are listed below.

  • Thanksgiving:  Closed November 26-27
  • Holiday Recess:  Closed December 24 through January 4 except for Thursday, December 31 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On December 31, there will be no campus deliveries or pickups, but the mail center will be open between from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for staff to pick up department mail.

The last day that bulk mailing will be accepted is Wednesday, December 9, which will allow for processing and delivery to the U.S. Postal Service. Campus community members are advised that the USPS will process first-class mail and packages before bulk mailings and that bulk mailings should be submitted as soon as possible.

Campus community members are also advised that daily metering of first class mail will continue. There is no submission deadline for daily mail.
