OUWB Blood Drive

For over a year, OUWB has partnered with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan to support their blood donation initiatives. Versiti saw a significant decline in donations during the holiday season, and the downward trend continues as the region navigates ongoing winter weather. Unfortunately, the need for blood does not take a holiday and more patients than ever before require lifesaving blood as part of their treatment.
Oakland University has led the charge for universities in Southeast Michigan. Let's please continue that trend in 2023.
We currently have 30 donors registered for our drive which will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in room 110A of O'Dowd Hall. We have a goal of 40 donors with the ability to accommodate 60 donors.
