Distinguished Lecture in Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity
In honor of African American Celebration Month, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB) invites you to attend the school’s inaugural Distinguished Lecture in Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity. The program is designed to highlight OUWB’s focus on community engagement, health equity and population health in the communities of southeastern Michigan, and will become an annual event organized by OUWB's Diversity & Inclusion team.

Under Shirley Stancato’s leadership, New Detroit has developed and launched a series of initiatives, including a strategic alignment with OUWB in population health. With New Detroit, the OUWB medical school is engaged in the mission to provide and promote health care solutions, compassionate care and priorities associated with patient and family needs in the region.
