Program Overview

Students will fly together as a group to Trieste, a beautiful seaside city in Italy. In Trieste, courses will be held at the Università degli studi di Trieste, with frequent educational excursions throughout the city.

Students will be introduced to the history, geography and local culture of the city of Trieste and the region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia through visits to museums, cathedrals and other sites of interest. Through immersion into the life at an Italian university, they will learn about modern Italian culture while gaining an appreciation for the art, architecture, music and cuisine of Trieste and the surrounding region. On the weekends, students will have the opportunity to visit nearby destinations such as Venice or Milan.
