Honors College Building

New Honors College Building

As the new home for The Honors College (we moved in on 11 August 2014), Oak View Hall is a 500-bed student-housing complex that officially opened with a Ribbon Cutting event on 20 September 2014. A $30+ million facility, Oak View Hall gives students a unique opportunity to combine study with access to exciting Honors College events and activities, as well as providing wonderful accommodation and a range of spaces for meetings, private and group study. It even has a cafe!
Naming Opportunities
The mission of The Honors College at Oakland University is to provide bright and ambitious students the greatest support to achieve all that they can. The Honors College is about encouraging aspiration, ability and commitment. The students in The Honors College major in a range of subjects but what makes them distinctive is their ambitions to make a difference in the world.

The Honors College is strengthened through the generosity of alumni and friends. Naming opportunities exist to support new facilities and new developments in The Honors College, so that we can assist these highest achievers to accomplish their goals.

Naming and other donor inquiries are welcomed from individuals, couples, families, associates, friends, organizations, foundations, and businesses. Please contact Kelly Brault, the Honors College major gift officer, about these opportunities. Ms. Brault is available at brault@oakland.edu or via phone at: 248-370-4921
