Careers in Criminal Justice Information Session

Tuesday, March 25, 2014
 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Oakland University
Anton/Frankel Center
20 South Main Street, Mount Clemens

As long as crime exists, careers in the criminal justice field will continue to be in demand to protect the peace and safety of our community.  With an Oakland University criminal justice degree, you may choose a career to safeguard residents, prevent criminal activity through social development, solve crimes, deal with the causes of criminal behavior, or punish and rehabilitate the offenders - working as a probation officer, evidence technician, private investigator, court report, and more.

You're invited to an iterative information session where you'll discover the challenging and rewarding careers paths available in criminal justice. You'll

  • acquire key employment information for current and emerging career demand at the local, state and federal levels or in the private sector.
  • learn how to stand out in the criminal justice field by choosing one of six degree program specializations including law enforcement, courts, corrections and treatment, juvenile justice, homeland security, and information security and assurance.
  • meet with faculty experts to have all your questions answered.
  • get expert guidance from Oakland University professionals who'll discuss transfer credits and admissions requirements.
