Academic Merit Scholarships and Need-Based Grants
Note: Students will automatically be considered for academic merit scholarships provided all application materials are submitted to Undergraduate Admissions by March 1. To be considered for scholarships, Oakland University must receive the application, transcripts, SAT scores, and/or ACT scores by March 1. To be considered for grants, students must be admitted and complete the FAFSA by July 1. The FAFSA must demonstrate financial need. The university will review OU scholarships and/or grants annually to determine eligibility for renewal, up to a maximum of six additional successive fall, winter, and summer semesters, after the student’s first academic year (fall and winter semesters). Students must meet the OU scholarship and/or grant renewal criteria.
