The Imagination Lab
Mandatory Sophomore Project and Research Workshops
Every day we encounter possibilities for developing new knowledge or new creative opportunities and a great many of these possibilities and opportunities relate to our future careers, research or creative explorations and our current abilities to get the most out of the university and the university's considerable resources.
The Honors College Imagination Laboratory
is a mandatory one time workshop (offered fall and winter semester) for Honors College sophomores, AND/OR those students taking HC 390 next year.
It will explore the key tools to start working toward a project or piece of research, in your junior and senior year (when you will undertake your Honors College thesis). It is this research that will help you make your mark in your chosen field. It is about giving you an edge as an Honors College graduate! Whether you go out into industry, the community, the public arena, or on to grad school we are going to set that in motion with the things we'll explore in The Honors College Imagination Lab
The Fall Imagination Lab
session will be held on Thursday, Oct.24th from 5:30-7:30 pm in 1050 HHB.
Please RSVP (Yes or No) to Karen
by replying to this email no later than Friday, Oct. 18th.
*If you cannot attend this fall, you must take part in the winter session which is "tentatively" scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5th at the same time. Definite date and location to be announced in November after we are allowed to book rooms for second semester.
**If you are following the "degree in three" plan, you must come to the fall session. Please let Karen know when you RSVP.
We look forward to seeing you there,
Dr. Graeme Harper
