Quality Online Teaching Certification Courses

e-LIS offers two Quality Online Teaching Certification Courses (QOTCC), Part 1 and Part 2. These courses focus on how to teach effectively in the online environment. Both are 4 weeks long, fully online and are facilitated by the e-Learning and Instructional Support staff.

Part 1 is facilitated asynchronously with no specific meeting times. Assignments are due either mid or end-of-week. Participants have the flexibility to access course content on their own time with these due dates in mind. Part 2 has 1 synchronous meeting that will be scheduled via Doodle and is otherwise facilitated in the same asynchronous format as Part 1

Upcoming Cohorts
Cohorts for both courses are typically offered in October, March, and July.
During Summer 2020 e-LIS will be expanding opportunities to take QOTCC - Part 1.
Additional sections will be available in May and June.

You can view upcoming cohort dates and the number of seats available by logging into the QOTCC Application and using the drop-down menu on the bottom of the application.

Please direct any questions to idteam@oakland.edu.
