Studio Art (K-12)

Studio art is an academic discipline that embraces both visual communication and the aesthetic expression of an intellectual vision.

If you have a creative eye and want to develop your artistic talents, a studio art major in drawing, painting, photography or new media can prime you for a career in the visual arts, including a career in K–12 studio art education. Students in this major receive thorough technical and aesthetic training.
