Training and Development Master’s Degree: What You’ll Learn

The master’s degree in training and development requires 36 to 44 credits, depending on which of the three academic tracks you select. All students complete the following five core courses: 

  • Instructional Design
  • Theoretical Foundations in Training and Development
  • Needs Assessment
  • Program Evaluation
  • Program Administration

You’ll complete the degree with electives in one of three tracks: instructional design, organizational development, or a dual track that integrates instructional design and organizational development.
