Dance Education (B.A.)

The BA degree in Dance Education is designed for the student who wishes to work as a K-12 dance instructor.

This degree is designed for students who are looking for a broad general education and Michigan K-12 certification as a dance teacher, without a high degree of specialization in dance. Students will complete a performance production requirement, an events attendance requirement, and a senior interview as they work toward their degree. These requirements are outlined in the department's Undergraduate Dance Handbook.
