Earning his MBA in Oakland University’s Executive MBA program provides David Stefaniak strong business knowledge and leadership skills to help him advance. “The skills we learn in the OU EMBA program are the ones that can make or break you in your career,” he says.

In its annual global MBA rankings edition, CEO Magazine named Oakland University’s MBA programs among the best in the world. Specifically, it recognized the OU MBA on its 2021 Tier One North America list, the OU Executive MBA program on its 2021 Global EMBA list and OU’s new online MBA on its Global Online MBA list.

With a stated objective to identify schools that marry exceptional quality with great ROI, CEO Magazine relies on a ranking system weighted toward fact-based criteria to provide prospective students with an unbiased benchmark for comparing programs. The criteria is based on quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, price, work experience, professional development and delivery methods.

“Recognition at the global level reinforces what many already know about the quality and value of an Oakland University business education,” says Michael A. Mazzeo, dean and professor of finance, School of Business Administration. “With its focus on performance indicators, CEO Magazine provides additional insight and value to current and prospective OU students as well as alumni of our programs.”

This marks the fifth year in a row CEO Magazine has showcased Oakland University’s MBA and Executive MBA programs on its annual lists. Oakland University is one of only three Michigan universities named to the lists.

Through its three MBA programs, students interested in earning an Oakland University MBA can find a program that matches their background and experience while supporting their busy schedule and professional aspirations.

Through the Executive MBA program, experienced professionals cultivate innovative leadership capabilities and executive-level business acumen through a 21-month alternating weekend cohort program. In the part-time MBA program, professionals seeking to boost their business knowledge and prepare for the next step in their career attend evening classes on campus or online on a schedule that meets their needs. Students enrolled in OU’s new online MBA have access to the same quality curriculum, faculty, advising and services as the on-campus program with the added flexibility to complete coursework completely online.

The Oakland University MBA programs also hold recognition from national organizations such as The Princeton Review in its Best Business Schools for 2021 and Best Business Schools Midwest editions as well as on the Best Part-Time MBA Programs list of the 2022 U.S. World and News Report Best Graduate Programs publication. Oakland University business and accounting programs also hold elite accreditation from AACSB-International.
