CyberOU — OU's cyber security club — will be hosting a Cyber Summit on Friday, March 7 in the Elliott Hall Auditorium (EH242). Check in and refreshments begin at 9 a.m. and the event runs until 12:40 p.m., followed by lunch from 12:40 – 1:40 p.m.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Michigan’s Chief Security Officer (CSO) Dan Lohrmann
- Michigan’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Rodney Davenport,
- Oakland County’s Deputy County Executive Phil Bertolini
In addition, a panel discussion will be held with Oakland University’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) Theresa Rowe alongside Mr. Dan Lohrman and Mr. Rodney Davenport.

The theme of the event is centered around what colleges can do to protect their cyber infrastructure, preparing for global cyber attacks, impacts of new threats, and preparation and solutions to address threats.
