2013 Spanish Film Festival
10/23/2013, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The 2013 Spanish Film Fest presents a selection of movies produced in Latin America and Spain in the last three years. This year's selection has a significant number of documentaries that allow undergraduate students to learn about local issues, as well as to contemplate global issues from the perspective of Spanish-speaking communities. The festival will combine the work of mainstream directors like Sebastian Borensztein and younger, more marginal, directors like those included in "Que culpa tiene el tomate" or "Wilaya". Finally, the movies and documentaries included in this edition of the festival are representative of the cultural and socio-economic diversity of the Spanish world, and contribute to present a complex representation of contemporary issues.
