Bookkeeping expert to share tips on communicating with CPAs

     Sterling Heights, Mich. – To kick off the Macomb-OU INCubator's Lunch and Launch series in 2013, Lori Bianco, CPA and CGMA with BiancoCPA, will present "Are All Your Ducks in a Row?: How to Set Up a Bookkeeping System to Efficiently Communicate with Your CPA" on Thursday, Jan. 17.

     Participants can expect to walk away with knowledge on what software to use for bookkeeping, how to efficiently organize records and files, what to do during the year to get ready for year-end, and what CPAs will ask for at year-end closing.

     In addition to owning her own firm, Lori Bianco is an instructor at the Macomb County Small Business and Technology Development Center, a past adjunct faculty member of Macomb Community College's Continuing Education Department and a new executive in residence at the Macomb-OU INCubator.

     She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the QuickBooks Professional Advisors program. BiancoCPA assists clients with accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, enterprise consulting and software solutions.

     This free lecture, set for noon to 1 p.m. at the Macomb-OU INCubator, will include a question and answer period. Attendees should bring their own lunch, though beverages and dessert will be provided.
