Barbara and Allen Gough Scholarship online application form

After raising two children and volunteering in the community, Barbara Gough returned to school to start a new career. As a non-traditional student, Barbara brought much to the classroom as an OU student in Human Resources Development. She offered life experiences, insights, and the perspective of someone committed to helping others succeed in life. Upon earning her bachelor’s degree from Oakland in 1992, Barbara went on to earn a master’s degree from Wayne State University.

With her concentration in training and development, Barbara held several key positions in organizations throughout southeastern Michigan. In addition, Oakland University was fortunate enough to have Barbara back on campus working as an instructor in the HRD training and development program.
