MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the largest departments in Bangalore Institute of Technology.In the year 1995 it had a strength of 600 students.

The Mechanical engineering course was started in 1979. The department has all the infrastructural facilities that are necessary to impart quality education as per the academic requirements of Bngalore University. Recently advanced facilities such as the Computer Aided Design Center and Non-Destructive Testing Center have been developed for the new requirements of the semester scheme of Bangalore University.
