Biography
Barbara Bova Hamilton, Associate Professor of Rhetoric, has taught at Oakland University since 1972. She received her Ph.D. in English and Rhetoric from the University of Southern California, her M.A. from Michigan State University, and her B.A. from Cornell University. She teaches and has developed a variety of courses in Rhetoric. Her research interests include composition pedagogy, peer tutoring, the history of Rhetoric, and legal rhetoric. She is the creator and director of the Test Preparation Program at Oakland.
