Distingished Professor Michael Chopp Averages a Paper Per Week
The productivity of Distinguished Professor Michael Chopp, of the Department of Physics, is breathtaking. Chopp, whose laboratory is located at Henry Ford Hospital, leads a large team of researchers including several graduate students in the Biomedical Sciences: Medical Physics PhD program. To get an idea of how much quality biomedical research comes out of Chopp’s lab, I list below his publications from the last month. That is not a typo: Chopp publishes about one paper per week.

- Santra M, Zheng XG, Roberts C, Santra S, Lu M, Panda S, Jiang F, Chopp M. 2010. “Single Doublecortin Gene Therapy Significantly Reduces Glioma Tumor Volume.” Journal of Neuroscience Research, Volume 88, Pages 304-314.
