OU organization wins national recognition
Oakland University's Beta Alpha Psi, a professional/honorary organization for students in Accounting, Finance and Information Technology, recently was recognized by the National Council as a superior chapter, which is the highest level of recognition available for chapters.
This is the ninth consecutive year the Oakland chapter has been recognized as superior.
"The students involved in Beta Alpha Psi work very hard, and it is fitting that, once again, they have been recognized for those efforts," said Eileen Peacock, associate dean for the School of Business Administration. "It is wonderful that we have students of such quality at Oakland University."
The chapter also received a special "President's Leadership Award" for serving as a Beta-test chapter for the new program of activities.
