Microcomputer Certificate Program offered
Oakland University's School of Education and Human Services (SEHS) is offering a "Microcomputer Applications Certificate Program," a 16-credit course integrating technology in the classroom beginning in September.
Designed for teachers, administrators and professional staff, courses include application of web-enhanced instruction, multimedia and the Internet.
Participants have the option to earn the highly recognized Michigan Certificate for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching with Technology (MCOATT) designation. Courses may be applied as electives toward OU's Master of Arts in Teaching in Reading and Language Arts. The program can be completed in four semesters.
Classes will be held in the evenings at the Macomb Intermediate School District in Clinton Township. The application deadline is August 24.
