Since joining Oakland University in 2003, Mourelatos’ research accomplishments in the areas of Noise, Vibration and Harshness, Tribology and Design Under Uncertainty have been impressive. These include publication of 40 journal papers, 43 conference papers and three book chapters. In addition, Mourelatos has been awarded $829,000 in external funding from General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, the U.S. Army and Federal Mogul. In recognition of his excellent scholarship, Mourelatos has recently been elevated to the grade of fellow in the Society of Automotive Engineers.
