Jack’s Place for Autism to host Family Fun Day
Jack’s Place for Autism at Oakland University is hosting its second annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, Nov. 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Oakland University Recreation and Athletics Center. All activities are free to families of individuals with an autism spectrum disorder.
Activities for the day include:

a fun and games room including a moon walk, obstacle course and lots of games and prizes;

sensory station staffed by Kaufman Children’s Center;

art center, staffed by art therapists, where individual art projects can be made;

information fair where experts from organizations across the state will be on hand to answer questions about their services;

open swimming in the Rec Center pool.
Participants of the Family Fun Day also will have the chance to sign up for new programs offered this year at Jack’s Place for Autism at OU.
