MTD to host music learning and teaching conference

The conference will bring together 24 presenters from all over the world to discuss and present papers on topics ranging from arts integration to Internet-based music education. The goal of the conference is to transform music education practice through the development of a research-based method of teaching for musical understanding.

 

The first session is at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 1 to 5:15 p.m. followed by a reception at 7:30 p.m. The second session on Friday, Nov. 11, is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Meadow Brook Hall. The final session is at the Royal Park Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
