2004-05 dean’s list available online

Oakland University’s 2004-05 dean’s list is now available online. OU students, their relatives and friends may access the list through the Oakland University Web site. Students named to the list also will have their names submitted to their local newspapers.

This year, 1,044 undergraduate and post-bachelor students were named to the dean’s list.

"Students at Oakland University continue to make strides in academic excellence. The dean's list recognizes students committed to the institutional mission,” said Virinder Moudgil, vice president of Academic Affairs and provost. “The campus community is proud of our students’ accomplishments and wishes them continued success in their chosen fields of study. It is with great enthusiasm we celebrate the achievements of our university's most effective ambassadors."

Students named to the list are those who distinguish themselves academically by attaining a grade point average of 3.60 or higher for 12 numerically graded credits in each of the consecutive fall/winter semesters. The list is posted once a year following the winter semester for the previous academic year.

Visit the dean’s list Web site to search the 2004-05 list by last name, first name, city, major or class. Site visitors also may view the entire list alphabetically by last name. Note that what appears is not a complete list, since some students who qualified for the dean’s list have requested their names not be published for privacy reasons. The 2003-04, 2002-03 and 2001-02 dean’s lists also are still available online.
