Oakland University’s fall 2004 student enrollment stands at 16,902 students, a 2 percent increase over last fall.

"We are pleased that we have yet another year of record enrollment for our fall semester.  These numbers are a testament to the continued commitment of faculty and staff to provide an outstanding academic experience and opportunities for our students,” said OU President Gary Russi. "Our increase in students for fall 2004 demonstrates that even more students are recognizing Oakland University’s distinctive academic opportunities, valuable career-building and service experiences and vibrant student life.”

The total headcount of 16,902 represents an increase of 326 students over last fall's count of 16,576 students.
