Oakland's winter enrollment increases

Oakland University officials announced that winter 2003 enrollment is up 3 percent overall. Enrollment is up 1.6 percent for undergraduates and up 8.1 percent for graduate students.

Winter 2003 enrollment stands at 15,263 students, an increase of 450 students over winter 2002, making this Oakland's highest winter enrollment total ever.

Oakland University is a comprehensive state-supported institution of higher education located in Oakland County, Michigan. The university has 114 bachelor’s degree programs and 72 graduate degree and certificate programs. Dedicated to preparing learners for the 21st-century workplace and society, Oakland University is organized into the College of Arts and Sciences and the Schools of Business Administration, Education and Human Services, Engineering and Computer Science, Health Sciences, Nursing and the Honors College.
