Can I pick a roommate?
You can indicate a roommate preference when you apply for on-campus housing. Both students should request one another. If both individuals agree, we will try to accommodate the request. We strongly encourage roommates to apply early to better the chances of being assigned to the same room. Due to space limitations, roommate requests cannot be guaranteed. If you do not have a roommate in mind, we will pick one for you based on the personal preferences you indicate when you submit your contract.

After submitting a completed online housing contract, students are placed in room assignments in the order in which contracts are received and validated. Students will receive notification of room assignments via OU email by early August.
