Biography 
Jacqueline S. Drouin, PT, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Oakland University.  She serves as the Coordinator of Post-Professional and Undergraduate Physical Therapy Research and Co-coordinator for the Graduate Certificate in Oncology Rehabilitation.  Dr. Drouin’s teaching areas include Research Methods and Statistics, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Health and Wellness Promotion, and Evidence Based Clinical Practice.  Dr. Drouin earned a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Oakland University and a doctoral degree in Educational Evaluation and Research from Wayne State University.  Her research is on metabolic assessments and exercise training in special populations with a focus on individuals undergoing cancer treatments.  Dr. Drouin’s clinical background includes work in an Acute Care Trauma Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Oncology, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics.  She serves on the editorial board of Rehabilitation Oncology, the Journal of the Oncology Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a manuscript reviewer for Cancer the Journal of the American Cancer Society.  Dr. Drouin was recently named President of the World Congress for Physical Therapy’s developing Subgroup for International Oncology, Hospice and Palliative Care, and HIV/AIDS.
