Jeff Dupuis Award in Human Resource Development

The W. Jeff Dupuis Award in Human Resource Development was established by W. Jeff Dupuis, an Oakland University graduate in Human Resource Development and now a special lecturer in the department.

The award emphasizes and supports the opportunities for students to engage in theoretical and practical learning experiences in the area of labor and employment relations.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • undergraduate student with a declared minor in Labor and Employment Studies or Employments Studies and Standards
  • minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • written essay of 500-750 words discussing the applicant’s career goals and/or accomplishments as they relate to the study of labor and work to facilitate the success of the American worker

Award Information:

The W. Jeff Dupuis Award in Human Resource Development of approximately $1,000 will be distributed to up to two students annually. Recipients of this award may reapply in future years.
