Summer Workshop



The School of Engineering and Computer Science sponsors an exciting one-week intensive workshop for students who have completed their freshman, sophomore, or junior year of high school. During this program, you will explore the fields of engineering and computer science and:
  • create an independent design project using state-of-the art technology
  • learn from professors from the School of Engineering and Computer Science
  • compete for Oakland University scholarships ranging from $2,000 - $5,000
  • explore campus and meet other students interested in engineering and computer science
Wednesday, August 7 through Friday, August 16, 2013
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day, with a special reception and awards ceremony for parents on Friday evening from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

(Students will bring their own lunch to the workshop each day or purchase lunch on campus.)

Costs
The School of Engineering and Computer Science is offering full scholarships for 20 students to attend this workshop at no cost.
