The Oakland University Senior Class Gift Committee is participating in the first ever "
Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day" on
February 28, 2013. We will be partnering with
CASE ASAP and over 40 universities to enhance philanthropy awareness, and engage higher education students around the world.
Please stop by our table in the Oakland Center on
February 28th between
12 p.m. - 2 p.m. to receive a free cup of coffee, and learn more about how you can make an impact on OU through the Senior Class Gift.
The Oakland University Senior Class Gift promotes the importance of philanthropy and is a collective effort by senior OU students to leave their mark on the university. Participating in the Senior Class Gift is the first step for seniors in staying connected to Oakland University as they transition into becoming alumni.
Why should I give?
Just a few reasons:
- The senior class gift is a way for seniors to commemorate their time at Oakland University. This is your chance to reminisce on all the personal growth, professional development, and fun times that Oakland University has provided you with.
- By contributing to the Senior Class Gift you can give future students the same opportunities that were afforded to you and pave the way for the Grizzlies of tomorrow!
- By giving back you are doing your part to ensure that Oakland University remains a great educational institution that you can be proud of as an alumni.

The Senior Class Gift campaign is an effort to raise money in support of OU scholarships. There are many scholarships opportunities at OU, but there is always room for more. All contributions collected through the Senior Class Gift will go towards helping the next generation of OU students accomplish their goals of graduation. Help us pay it forward, support future students, and thank our OU community!
