LOCAL BUSINESS FUNDRAISING FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Buffalo Wild Wings

Days/times available for fundraising: Mondays/All day

Process: Fill out the fundraising application on their website, print it out, take it to the restaurant’s location, and take the fliers back to OU to distribute among students/Student Org mail boxes. Fundraising proceeds will only go to the org if the flyer/certificate is shown to the waiter. One flyer per person.

Fundraising results: 20% of an individual's purpose will go back to the organization.

 

Classic Lanes

Fundraising:

3 hours of bowling include:

    Pop

    $11 (Unlimited pop)

Raffles

    100% profit for org

     Org must provide prizes

Cold Stone Creamery

Days/times available for fundraising: Mondays-Thursdays from 5 PM - 8 PM

Process: Contact Todd, the owner, by calling Cold Stone at (248) 375-6000 or go to the location to select a day/time for your event. They will need a few weeks in advance to not over-schedule events.

Fliers: Cold Stone will provide the fliers, but it is the orgs’ responsibility to distribute them.

Fundraising results: If your org makes under $200, you will get only 25% of the purchases made. If you make over $200, the org receives 30% of the purchases.



CoolYO

Days/times available for fundraising: Fill out fundraising form on their website for approval or call company.

Process:

4 hour time frame

10% profit

4-5 people from org recommended to help conduct the fundraiser

 

Firehouse Subs

Days/times available for fundraising: Monday or Tuesday nights from 4-6pm

Process:

Fliers:

Firehouse will create a pdf flyer for org to share and print.

Fundraising results: Org receives 10% or 15% of the net.



Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle

Days/times available for fundraising:

Sunday - Any time

Monday through Thursday - 7:30 or 8 PM show would be the required show for your organization to go to

Process:

Room rental is $2,500. This includes: the room, the comedian, and the staff.

The organization decides how much tickets are. To receive funds from the event after paying the $2,500 (non-SAFB funded), ticket sales would have to be successful.

Fliers:

If the organization designs a flier, the company will put it on their website to be advertised. No flier is needed to enter the door and fundraise for the event. Whoever buys a ticket for your time slot puts money towards the organization.



Noodles

Days/times available for fundraising: Up to the company.

Process:

Free to fundraise

Fill out the fundraising form on their website, print it off, deliver it to the restaurant location, and wait a few days to get it approved. Come in 3-4 weeks before planned fundraising event.

Fliers: Provided by Noodles (Fliers/Posters)

Fundraising results: 25% of purchase goes to org per flier



Red Ox Tavern

Process:

Rochester Mills Beer Co.

Days/times available for fundraising: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays (based on availability). An organization can only have one fundraising event every three months. Your org cannot reserve tables for your event.

Process: Go to the location or call them to try to select an event date. The company will email the flier 2-3 weeks before your event. Print and/or email the flier to your members/supporters! The organization will receive 20% of sales for every flier ticket that is attached to guest checks on your event day.
